ITS moves operations into bigger, modern facility 150 150 Batteries International

International Thermal Systems has moved its operations into a new facility eight miles from its original location, the company said on November 8.

The US firm is based in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. The new plant will enable it to expand the development of its heat processing and aqueous washing products that it makes for a wide range of industries, including battery manufacturing.

Its equipment includes humidity drying chambers, plate dryers and thermal degreasers.

“This is a key part of our plan to keep growing and improving our business,” said president Tom Stricker. “In this new location, we will continue to provide our customers the solutions they expect us to deliver.”

ITS began life as LTG Technologies in Germany in 1926. Having worked in the metal packaging industry for half a century, it expanded into the US in the 1990s. Since then it has integrated four organizations into one company with offices in the US, China and Europe.
