January 13, 2022: ELBC event co-organizers ILA and CBI on January 10 issued their call for papers for this year’s European Lead Battery Conference, which is scheduled for September 6-9 in Lyon, France.
Encouraging delegates to offer papers on lead battery energy storage systems, automotive and industrial batteries and updates on technical developments and new research, the two organizations are joining together to host the event for the first time.
“ELBC is a unique conference which is organized by the industry for the industry,” said ILA managing director Andy Bush.
“It’s been a long wait to get back together and discuss in person all aspects of the market as well as innovation and lead battery research. ELBC brings together the whole industry from manufacturers to suppliers, researchers and analysts.
“We will be hosting a major expo and look forward to seeing partners from across the industry and the world.”
Stands, bookings and sponsorship packages are available to book on the conference’s own website, www.elbcexpo.org, which was launched this week.
CBI director Alistair Davidson said there was also a pre-conference workshop being held in Lyon to discuss low-voltage EV batteries, which he said were ‘a significant future application for the technology’.
