August 30, 2023: Delegates will start to gather in Siem Reap, Cambodia this weekend for two prestige events on this year’s global lead industry calendar.
Recycle100 — the 8th International Secondary Lead & Battery Recycling Conference — takes place on September 4 and 5, with live streaming of the final session of the conference including the roundtable discussion ‘Understanding Slag’. Click here for details and to register for access.
The 20th Asian Battery Conference and Exhibition, starting on September 5, will include the ONE Minute Giveback, a charity initiative that started at 18ABC in Bali.
Some $40,000 was raised in Bali for three local charities and 20ABC conference organizers hope that a similar sum will be available to support the Angkor Hospital for Children, an independent non-profit paediatric healthcare hospital in Siem Reap.
20ABC will of course spotlight the increasingly crucial role to be played by batteries as the industry adapts to the demands of a more energy-focused world.
To get a flavour of what lies in store at 20ABC, the electronic second instalment of the Batteries International special show guide is already available — just click here to read it online now or to download and read enroute.
Printed copies of this official publication will be available in Siem Reap too.
The Batteries International team, with Mike Halls, John Shepherd, Karen Hampton and Jade Beevor, will be at the event too.
Please email us if you’d like to tell us in person about your latest news… or just to catch up for a chat over a coffee or something stronger.
Don’t forget too that a 20ABC edition of the Battery Street Journal will be produced and distributed at the event.
