August 30, 2018: Lead battery recycling firm Aqua Metals announced on August 27 it had appointed Terri Bradfield as vice president of human resources. She will report directly to Steve Cotton, president.
Bradfield joined Aqua Metals from Klondex Mines, where she was director of human resources for two years, working across the firm’s four mines and three mills — where more than 1,000 staff are employed.
She has considerable experience in human resources, working at Firth Rixson as vice president of human resources in 1999, then at NV Energy for seven years as manager of employee and labour relations from 2001.
In 2008, she became director of human resources with Hamilton Company until 2012, then worked at HR consultants for four years before joining Klondex Mines.
All of her work has been in the state of Nevada.
Recognizing Bradfield’s track record in human resources, Cotton said: “With her insight into the local talent pool, Terri is uniquely qualified to help build and sustain a high performance, inclusive and rewarding environment that will help propel Aqua Metals to the next level and ensure the company has the right people and capabilities to deliver on its strategies and initiatives.”
In April, Steve Clarke stepped down as CEO, chairman and director to be replaced in an interim period by Selwyn Mould, company co-founder and chief operating officer.
Cotton was then appointed CEO in June, to continue in the post ‘through this crucial time in our evolution’, according to board chairman Shariq Yosufzai.
