February 6, 2025: Goonvean Core Engineering has announced the appointment of Sachin Khadke as sales and service engineer for India and the Middle East.

Goonvean said on January 28 that Khadke, who lives in India, brings 25 years of experience and expertise in mechanical engineering, battery manufacturing equipment and maintenance management.

Khadke was most recently head of service at TBS Ador Digatron — a joint venture of India’s Ador Powertron and Digatron Power Electronics of Germany — where he was responsible for the commissioning, installation and servicing of advanced battery assembly equipment.

James Mullins, Goonvean Core Engineering MD, said Khadke’s knowledge and expertise would be vital as the company continues to support global automotive battery manufacturers.

Goonvean Fibres, the market leader for manufacturing precision cut fibre and flock operating across the lead acid battery industry, announced last October that it had acquired the business and assets of Core Engineering and added Goonvean Core Engineering to its portfolio.
