The 10th anniversary edition of the International Secondary Lead Conference (ISLC-10) is to be held in Sri Lanka later this year.

Organizers told Batteries International on April 6 that the conference, taking place from October 25-28 at the Cinnamon Life City of Dreams hotel in Colombo, will be held alongside the Lead Training Academy’s 2026 Learning Lead course.

ISLC-10 will bring together global industry leaders, technical experts, recyclers, smelters, OEMs, and policymakers to examine the market dynamics, regulatory developments, sustainability frameworks, and technological advancements shaping the secondary lead sector.

Delegates will start the three-day event with a casual networking reception and a conference dinner will be held on October 27.

The Learning Lead course will run across the final day-and-a-half of the event. Organizers say the course will be an invaluable immersive training experience, providing participants with foundational knowledge and practical insights across the full lead value chain.
