October 21, 2021: The 19th Asian Battery Conference and Exhibition — to be held online this year — will begin in less than two weeks’ time, at 4pm (standard Singapore time) on November 3.

Kicking off the three-day event will be Mark Stevenson, followed by a strong agenda of speakers from research organizations, analysts, equipment manufacturers, and some of the best-known battery and battery component makers in the world.

As usual, Batteries International will have a booth in the virtual exhibitors’ hall — so do click on us, say hello, and tell us of any news that we can share with our audience.

For the first time, the conference will hold two ‘one-on-one chat sessions’ on days one and two, which attendees can join. The first is a chat between Neil Hawkes, of CRU, and Wood Mackenzie’s Farid Ahmed, who for years have been giving their perspectives on global and regional lead market vicissitudes and price dynamics.

The second session will be a chat with CBI managing director Alistair Davidson and his team, who will share their perspectives on the future of energy storage.

Running through the show will be a competition to score points on a leader board according to how many presentations you attend or exhibitors you engage with. Sponsored by Sorfin Yoshimura, the ‘Win Big’ competition will award top scorers Amazon gift cards and VIP treatment at the next ABC.
