July 20, 2023: The Doe Run Company has appointed Carlos Henriques as director of sales and marketing, the firm announced on July 13.

Doe Run said Henriques (pictured) brings nearly three decades of sales, marketing, business development and supply chain experience to the company, which is focused primarily on the metals, mining, automotive, and manufacturing industries in the US, Latin America and Europe.

Prior to joining Doe Run, Henriques held a number of management posts working with the metals trading sector and related businesses with multinationals such as Johnson & Johnson, Arcelor, Votorantim and most recently Metals Consulting.

Doe Run VP of sales and marketing Lou Magdits said: “With his understanding of the mining and metals industry and experience in the automotive market, Carlos will enable us to capitalize on new opportunities and strengthen our existing relationships.”

Henriques said Doe Run’s access to critical minerals including cobalt, nickel, tin and antimony in resources it owns will enable a whole new generation of electrification.
