February 20, 2025: US lead battery major East Penn Manufacturing has been ranked as one of America’s best large employers for the fourth time.

East Penn picked up the 2025 award along with over 700 other large American companies with more than 5,000 employees included on the Forbes and Statista list — based on an independent survey of more than 217,000 US employees working for companies employing at least 1,000 people within the country.

Alison Snyder, East Penn’s VP for personnel, said the accolade was a testament to the meaningful impact made by the company’s valued employees.

“Our people are the heart of our success,” she said.

Last September, East Penn was also ranked as one of Pennsylvania’s best-in-state employers for 2024 by Forbes and Statista.

That was the second time the company has been named to that list, which was based on an anonymous survey given to 160,000 employees across the country working at companies with at least 500 people.
