February 27, 2020: East Penn Manufacturing announced on February 26 a new microsite providing information on its new brand of lithium batteries called Ready Power.

Doug Bouquard, vice president of motive power, says: “As lithium technology in motive power is still a newer technology, customers need more information so that they can make the best choice for their power needs.

“Because East Penn offers both lead and lithium battery technology, we look at each customer’s needs to recommend their power solution.”

The website is www.dekareadypower.com.

The product range is a natural extension of East Penn’s acquisition of a majority interest in Navitas Systems in August last year. Navitas is a large battery format technology firm active in heavy commercial and industrial market segments.

The website contains key product information, specification sheets and product safety videos.

“The Deka Ready Power is the first lithium motive power battery product line  to be awarded ‘UL Listed’ approval for all three truck classes,” says Bouquard.

“It features higher energy density, an integrated and rugged exclusive battery management system and more than 30 sizing options for Class I, II, and III lift trucks.”
