February 14, 2025: EnerSys has confirmed the appointment of Keith Fisher as president, Energy Systems Global.

EnerSys said on February 5 that Fisher took up the post as of January 2. He succeeded and will report to Shawn O’Connell — who was recently promoted to president and COO.

Fisher brings 27 years’ experience from multiple industries. Before joining the battery giant he was president of Honeywell Intelligrated. 

He is also a former VP and GM of Honeywell Building Technologies Global Services, VP and GM of the Honeywell Aerospace Mechanical Components business.

He has effectively led multi-billion-dollar businesses across several strategic business units, EnerSys said.

Batteries International reported last November that O’Connell would succeed David Shaffer as president and CEO of the company, when he retires in May.
