January 27, 2022: Japanese battery giant GS Yuasa has offered people on social media the chance to win a trip to Tokyo for a family of four, including return flights and accommodation, the company said on January 24.
The competition has been launched following the firm’s latest advertising campaign, ‘Powering What Matters’, which includes a 40-second television advert exploring all the different applications that GS Yuasa’s batteries can power.
The world in the advert is seen through the eyes of a six-year-old child and her mother.
To enter the competition, people just follow the company on social media and like or share the advertising video.
“As a business proud of its Japanese heritage, we wanted to run a competition that references our origins while providing a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the lucky winner,” said Gareth Robinson-Green, marketing executive with GS Yuasa UK.
