April 13, 2023: Brian Leen has quit as president and CEO of  lead battery recycler Gopher Resource to become CEO of Vivify Specialty Ingredients.

Vivify, which provides additives and ingredients for the food, beverages and other markets, said on April 6 that Leen had joined the firm with immediate effect. Leen succeeds Devlin Riley, who has left the company.

Leen has been a member of Vivify’s board since it was acquired in December 2021 by Gryphon Heritage Fund. His appointment as CEO comes four years after he joined Gopher.
