February 10, 2022: Turkish battery equipment manufacturer Batek Makina has appointed Bűlent Őmerderelioğlu as chief executive officer as of January 3.

Batek co-founder and board member, Mahmut Celal Sarıçam, said Őmerderelioğlu — who has been a consultant to the company for more than 10 years — had already helped Batek develop strategies for the successful growth and diversification of the business.

Sarıçam said “the time had come to hand over the leadership” to a professional who can lead continued growth.

Őmerderelioğlu has previously held several senior executive posts in manufacturing companies and is a respected figure in the Turkish equipment building industry, Sarıçam said.
