January 17, 2025: Germany-based SCHMID Group has been honoured with the best new partner award from Chinese printed circuit board producer Founder PCB.

SCHMID, whose industrial expertise and activities span sectors including battery storage, said on January 14 the award underscored the strong partnership between the companies.

Founder PCB, established in 1986, is part of the Huafa Group — a subsidiary of the Guandong province-based Huafa Technology Industry Group. The company operates advanced manufacturing facilities in Zhuhai and Chongqing and is set to start operations at a business unit in Thailand.

Last month, SCHMID announced a partnership with long-standing partner, Turkey’s PEKINTAŞ Group, to expand the production of large-scale energy storage systems based on vanadium redox flow technology.
