April 19, 2024:  Batteries International may have been voted the top energy storage magazine of the year but we see others in the market are snapping at our heels in an attempt to emulate our editorial excellence.

Last week we discovered our friends — or should we say former friends? — at BM Rosendahl had launched a rival magazine called “Charge up.”

The lead and lithium technology firm told us: “our magazine serves as a channel for sharing updates about our ongoing projects, innovations and overall goals.

“Published twice a year, it provides insights into what’s new at BM-Rosendahl, the initiatives we’re currently pursuing and our continuous commitment to excellence.”

Commitment to excellence? Well done but clearly copied from our company handbook!

BM-Rosendahl is welcome to take a few pages from our own magazine which we pride as a bastion of journalistic integrity – not to mention tenacious news reporting on everyone’s “projects, innovations and overall goals.”

Meanwhile, our also (former) friends at CAM have jumped on the bandwagon with their own publication: The Marphis News, which we suspect may have links with the firm’s dynamic sales manager Francesco Marfisi.

Still, they say imitation is the highest form of flattery. Or should that be battery? So, thanks folks. We’re more than happy to continue showing you all how it’s done…
