July 19, 2024: International technology group, Andritz, confirmed this week that Xin Wang, COO of Chinese battery manufacturer, SVOLT Energy, was joining its metals forming division as head of its battery division.

Wang has more than 25 years’ experience in the automotive and lithium-ion battery industries and has held management positions at the Sunwoda Power Battery Group and Shanshan Holding Group. He has also worked in the area of e-mobility at Groupe PSA, which included the Citroën, Peugeot and Opel brands. As part of this he spent some 15 years living in France.
