April 6, 2023: BCI’s upcoming Convention + Power Mart Expo in Kentucky is on course to be a sell-out event, say organizers who are urging last-minute bookers not to delay.
A BCI spokesperson told Batteries International on April 5 that with a 15%-plus increase in registrations over last year, the event is headed for ‘sold-out’ status.
This year’s convention in Louisville will mark the run up to BCI’s 100th birthday — and while the centenary celebrations are still over a year away, there will be some surprises in store, including finding out the winners of this year’s prestigious 2023 Innovation Award and Amplify Award.
The event will also launch a Poster Research Showcase, which aims to support researchers in university, government and commercial settings in building awareness about the scientific opportunities, advancements and career objectives in the battery industry.
