January 19, 2026: EnerSys senior executive Lisa Hartman has been named co-chair of Battery Council International’s communications committee.

BCI said in a LinkedIn post on January 12 that Hartman, as VP and head of investor relations and corporate communications at EnerSys, brings strategic communications expertise to elevate industry messaging.

Hartman will help lead efforts to increase awareness of our industry, and work with BCI member companies to reinforce key objectives with policymakers and stakeholders, the North American lead battery trade association said in a statement.

The announcement follows BCI’s recent appointment of Keely Anderson as director of membership and operations.

BCI said in a newsletter released last November that Anderson was bringing over a decade of experience in association management and member services.
