February 20, 2026: US Battery Manufacturing, which celebrates its centenary this year, has become the latest member of the Consortium for Battery Innovation.

The CBI announced the move on February 13, highlighting the firm’s portfolio of deep-cycle batteries as the ‘go-to’ energy storage solution for a variety of applications.

“We are looking forward to assisting US battery with future innovation and new products,” CBI said.

US Battery, which started out as a small manufacturing operation in California in 1926, now has several sites in US states and includes flooded lead acid, AGM deep cycle and lithium-based batteries in its range.

In February 2023, US Battery announced new promotions to the firm’s executive management team including Zachary Cox, who is executive vice president of operations. Cox had been with the company for the previous nine years.
