March 20, 2025: Braille Battery has unveiled an expanded US-manufactured line-up of AGM batteries targeting a range of vehicle classes.

The company, a subsidiary of Braille Energy Systems (BES), said on March 12 its expanded Endurance range now offers more than 4,000 new Battery Council International fitments for multiple vehicle classes, including from European, Japanese and North American manufacturers.

Lindsay Weatherdon, president and CEO of BES, said the group’s battery division expects to boost sales on the back of the expanded Endurance offerings.

The firm also continues to produce lithium battery options for performance racing teams and original equipment manufacturers.

In December 2022, Braille signed a brand-boosting, initial three-year European distribution agreement with The Netherlands-based Landport Batteries. Landport distributes lead batteries to 35 countries.

Last January, BES said it was partnering Enercare, one of Canada’s largest home and commercial services companies, to supply its ‘Electrafy’ lithium backup battery systems for homes.

The systems, designed to automatically start operating in the event of a power outage, are expected to be rolled out to Enercare customers this year.
