December 4, 2025: The European Lead Battery Conference is offering students a global platform to present their battery research at next year’s event in Vienna.

ELBC said on December 3 that the ELBC Student Award is an “invaluable chance to unveil research on the future of lead batteries at the world’s leading industry technical event of 2026”.

Students are invited to submit a research topic for a chance to attend and present at the Vienna conference, with travel and accommodation fully covered.

This is a unique opportunity to showcase your work, gain recognition, and network with global experts shaping the next generation of battery innovation, the organizers said.

ELBC 2026 takes place from September 15-18. It is jointly organized by the International Lead Association and the Consortium for Battery Innovation.

The event’s technical committee is seeking abstracts on all aspects of lead battery technology.

More than 1,000 attendees and 140+ exhibitors are expected by the organizers to take part.
