March 26, 2026: Vijay Pareekh, an executive director and non-board member of Gravita India, is resigning effective March 31, the lead recycling group has announced.

Pareekh confirmed in a letter to the National Stock Exchange of India on March 19 that he would be leaving his post owing to personal commitments.

He thanked Gravita’s board and management for their support during his term of office and wished the company well for the future.

Fellow executive director and non-board member, Yogesh Mohan, will take over all Pareek’s duties and responsibilities.

Earlier this year, Gravita launched its first lithium recycling plant at Mundra — converting EV batteries into black mass — with a processing capacity of 6,000 million tonnes annually.

Last month, the company announced that the overall lead battery recycling capacity of its Mundra plant was now more than 145,000 tonnes per annum following an expansion project.
