March 20, 2025: Stryten Energy said on March 13 it had been named vendor of the year by US rural lifestyle company Rural King.

Stryten is the exclusive supplier of products including automotive and heavy duty batteries to the company, which has 140 stores across the country.

The winner of Vendor of the Year demonstrates outstanding sales performance, exceptional customer service and reliable supply. 

Stryten said it had helped Rural King grow its business by providing high-quality and advanced battery technologies including enhanced flooded batteries.

In January 2022, Stryten announced its expansion of its lead and lithium battery production business to also embrace VRFB technology, following its acquisition of Storion Energy.
