August 16, 2023: Battery Council International has won a gold ‘dotCOMM’ award for its recently relaunched website.
BCI secured victory in the website redesign category of the awards — an international competition honouring excellence in web creativity and digital communication — run and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
BCI’s overhauled website went live earlier this year, ahead of next year’s centenary of the trade association for battery manufacturers and recyclers in North America.
BCI merged the content of its two previous sites — one general for consumers and BCI members and its ‘Essential Energy Everyday’ site, which had been devoted to lead battery thought leadership and education.
Roger Miksad, president and executive director of BCI, said the new website “reaffirms the association’s commitment to be the definitive authority on credible, timely information related to sustainable energy storage.”
In June, BCI announced it had also launched an updated and improved website for Source BCI, its data base for vehicle battery fitment.
