The must-attend lead battery conference of the year is just around the corner …With the 21st Asian Battery Conference just over two months away, it’s time to be setting a course for the beautiful Malaysian city of Kota Kinabalu in Borneo.

“This is going to be one of the best ABCs ever” says Mark Stevenson, one of the conference organizers. “Our technical committee has focused on a detailed and balanced programme that addresses the technical and commercial aspects of our growing and evolving industry.”

Some 45 speakers will present on a wide range of topics, including the current market conditions throughout the world’s regions.

At the conference, attendees will be able to identify where the market is moving and ensure all are at the forefront of these changes.

“This is why we must continually assess where the energy market is moving and ensure we are at the forefront of these changes. The many challenges we face do not get any easier, but I’m sure there will be rigorous discussion and debate on this and many other topics during the week,” says Stevenson.

“They will give us a better understanding of the mysteries of carbon and where our market is heading, as well as outline the latest developments in battery production.”

This will also be, as ever, an excellent meeting place for networking and we here at Batteries International are excited to meet some old and new faces at this vital conference.

The 21Asian Battery Conference will run from September 2-5. It will be preceded by Recycle 100, the international secondary lead and battery recycling conference.
