Clarios and Schneider Electric have received awards from the CandE organisation — which honours companies globally for excellence in their support of job candidates and recruitment.
US-based lead and lithium major Clarios said on September 23 it had been recognised as among winners of 2026 Global Candidate Experience (CandE) Awards in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa and Latin America.
French multinational Schneider Electric, which unveiled a next-generation UPS system that runs on VRLA or lithium ion batteries earlier this year, won in the same regional categories plus Asia-Pacific.
The companies were among 90 hiring around the world registered to participate in the Global CandE Awards Benchmark Research and Awards Program, part of Survale, which collected the thoughts and experiences of over 77,000 job candidates.
Candidates were asked to give an overall ranking of their experience and say whether they would reapply to the organisation in the future.
Beth Powers, chief human resources officer at Clarios, said: “Candidate experience is more than a recruiting metric. It is often a person’s first meaningful interaction with Clarios and an important reflection of our culture and commitment to people.”
Earlier this year, Clarios won BCI’s annual Amplify Award for Product Marketing in another tight competition for top slot in the category for the relaunch of its Autobatteries.com website as a consumer education resource.
