September 4, 2015: East Penn appointed Norbert Maleschitz as senior vice president of technology and innovation in March. The company says it will give further details later.

Maleschitz came from Exide Technologies, where he had been vice president of research and development in Europe since June 2013.

Before that he worked as technical director for Banner, the Austria-based automotive and industrial battery manufacturer and supplier.
