June 21, 2018: East Penn promoted Christy Weeber as chief financial officer on June 1.
Weeber, who was previously senior vice president of finance, will oversee all financial aspects of the company, the company said.
“She has been instrumental in supporting and sustaining the company’s financial structure as well as developing new ways to bring efficiencies to its operations,” a statement said.
Weeber joined East Penn in 2011 as manager of internal audit after 11 years with KPMG as audit senior manager.
This is the third senior appointment this year. In March, Norbert Maleschitz joined as senior vice president of technology and innovation.
In January, Chris Pruitt was appointed CEO when Dan Langdon retired after 32 years with the firm. Pruitt became CFO at the firm in 1999.
