Singapore is to host the inaugural annual meeting of the International Lithium Association later this year ― five years after the formation of the body.
The ILiA said the meeting from September 15-17 is expected to convene more than 100 members, partners and stakeholders from across the sector.
The milestone event, featuring plenary sessions, technical workshops, networking and a gala dinner, will focus on the strategic priorities and future direction of the lithium industry, ILiA said.
The association was formed in London in September 2021 to give a “central voice” to the lithium industry.
The five founding members of the association were lithium producers SQM, Ganfeng Lithium, AMG Brazil, Orocobre and Pilbara Minerals.
