August 30, 2018: The executive director of Chinese lead battery giant Leoch International Technology, Zhao Huan, resigned effective August 6, the company announced.
Leoch chairman Dong Li said Zhao had quit “to manage her personal affairs” and thanked her for her contribution to the company.
“Ms Zhao confirmed that she does not have any disagreement with the board and there are no other matters relating to her resignation that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the company or the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.”
Zhao Huan, who joined the company in 2004 as a foreign trade clerk, was promoted to foreign trade manager, deputy general manager of the foreign trade department then finally executive director in 2011.
She was in charge of international sales, administration, human resources and global promotion of products.
Separately, Leoch has just released a new deep cycle AGM battery with its proprietary paste formula, which the company says maximizes deep cycle performance and service life.
The LDC6-400-L16 (BCI 903) has 99.99% virgin lead for its grid plate and active material, a double separator configuration and low self discharge, the firm says.
